We just received the new Ground Control Team DVD and we’re about to leave the shop right now to watch it at JH’s house. I’m excited to see it but I think Dre can barely even wait as he already left to get a few games of Battlefield 3 in before we all get there to view the video. Hopefully he is preparing food and drinks as I type…

Scribe Industries just released their new Casey Bagozzi (Amall team rider) edit for his new v.3 Scribe pro wheel. It’s the type of edit that will make you drop whatever else you were doing on your computer and get out and blade!

1st up our friend Sly put together a little edit of himself. Whenever I get to skate with Sly, he always impresses me with some switch up I’ve never seen before or does some stunt at the spot that I wasn’t expecting. Definitely a fun person to skate with!

2nd up we have Darek who really pushed himself for this edit and was definitely willing to give his body a beating in order to try bigger and better tricks. Now I first met Darek Radke a few years ago when I was ringing him up at the shop and noticed his name on his credit card. That wouldn’t be that big of deal except that my name is Derek Radtke. So now there is 2 of us in the area, which is pretty cool. Anyways, Darek always brings the good energy to a session and is down to skate any spot.

Our good friend Nick Lindsey just wrapped up this edit before jetting back to Washington DC for the rest of summer. Nick is a fun person to rollerblade with and is always down to meet up and skate and help film and take photos. We know he put a lot of heart and effort into this edit with the help of Sly, Darek and the purple Jeep that has unfortunately since been sold. The edit turned out great and definitely showed Nick’s progression on his blades with a nice variety of tricks and spots.

Anyways thanks for taking the time to make this edit Nick and we can’t wait to have you back in Cali in the fall!

OKAY, so unless you are living under a rock you know about the BCSD. If you know about it but just aren’t going you should reconsider. If you go to any blading event this year, this is the one to go to, hell - if you were going to one event in your LIFE, this would probably be it. For those of you that do, you already know that the Bitter Cold Showdown is an annual mid-west event currently being held at Modern skate park in Royal Oak Michigan that is now on it’s 11th year and is stronger than ever. People drive, fly, bus, train and even occasionally cross boarders illegally from all over the world just to make it to this event. to Anyone who is considered anyone in the blade game will be in attendance of this 5 star W.R.S. event. (Any person(s) absent risk being considered, AWOL, MIA or KIA, or worse yet - a straight up loser.) This contest is not only the biggest in-door park contest in the USA, but the biggest park contest in general, and is probably ranked within the top 2 biggest contests in the world. In addition to that this event boasts the biggest trade show for blade gear in the entire U.S.A. It’s such a big event that it’s the ONLY event we close our doors for midweek aside from major holidays. So Check this edit out, Go to the BCSD web site, register to compete, or just show up to be hang out with the rest of your home dogs, have a good time and get ready to blown away by next level park skating from your favorite pro’s and up-and-coming am’z.
