KG dropped this Valo Alex Broskow boot video view (scroll down) this morning for everyone’s enjoyment. I know most of the sizes except the bigger ones are currently sold out but Valo is expecting to have more available in March or April.
Luckily I already picked up my pair of Broskows and I have to say that I really like them… they look awesome (Blue skates and Zebra pattern yeah!), the souls are nice and big and slide well and the liners are simple and to the point (the way I like liners) without a bunch of extra straps, laces and velcro to mess with.
So save up, mow some lawns, beg, borrow, get a job or whatever else you can do to get cash so that you can cop a pair within a couple months if your size is currently sold out.
For the last few months toe cuts have been the latest craze. It seems that it’s every rollerbladers dream to fit into a size 3 skate, and while that vivid wet dream of having the skates off of barbie’s feet may be distant to some, others are getting closer to it by snapping the toes off of their skates. For lack of a better example (but probably the best example) we will be using the Valo AB.1 available here. This procedure can be done on all Valo models and come similarly done on ALL nimh skates. You can do this on any skate that has an over boot. Models that I can think of off the top of my head include some USD Grycon skates, Some of the older Cults, heck you might even be able to do it on some RB’s even though I don’t think there is a whole lot to deal with up there anyways…

YO YO YO, CHECK THIS ‘S’ OUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN . Remember when Jules and BS stopped by the warehouse and skated and did all that cool stuff. They was filming for their sticker counting contest. Take a look at this edit (quicktime, click the pictutre) and see how many Valo stickers you can count in the edit. Oh but turn the edit off after B.Smith throws it down in the park (he makes skating look fun) because it gets really bad after that…
Once you’ve counted and listed where all the stickers are hop on over to the Themgoods msg board and post up your count (I got 7) and if you’re right you can win a free pair of Valos.
