Who’s more badass, Chris Farmer or Glen Danzig?

Danzig:

Fabiola da Silva, rollerbladings most hottest/famous.

Monday, November 12th, 2007

Without a doubt rollerblading has the hottest girl out of all these so called “action sports.” If anyone has seen better looking girls (and I’m talking about PROS) in any other sport please feel free to link them out. (Don’t even think of posting the skateboard women pro division >:/ )

Anyways FMH (the world famous men’s magazine) did a cool little interview and a small photo shoot with Fab and it is definitely worth checking out!

More AM gear featured on MTV’s Scarred. This time it’s a Back-to-back feature.

Monday, August 20th, 2007

We here at AMALL wanted to give a big shout out first to John Green from RI for wearing our gear on his episode of MTV’s Scarred. John took a really bad fall on a drop kink and ended up breaking his arm in probably the worst way possible. John ended up with a compound fracture and had to get some pretty heavy surgery to get the thing fixed. John is currently recoved and is already back on his skates and we hope to see more Hammers from him soon.

To see John’s episode click here.

To see more from John Green click here.

Next on our list is Valo & Bunique’s very own Franco Cammayo(NY) with his teeth shattering crash from last years (2006) bitter cold showdown. If you didn’t see the crash you should check it out, it’s one of the last things you want happening to you. (Can you imagine a 10ft drop onto a rail with your teeth?)  Anyways Franco is seen sporting our very own limited ed. Valo DGTL 001 skates. He was one of the luckyier ones to be able to pick up a pair and we are glad to see that you are still rocking them Franco! Best wishes with them teeth too man. To see Franco’s episode check it out # 13 right here.

Have you ever looked under our tags?

Skate the Hate 2007 results

Tuesday, June 19th, 2007

The contest went off this past weekend to say the least…
Thanks a lot for supporting this event. With over 50 competitors and probably an additional 30-40 spectators. I think that rollerblading is really making a come back as a whole and this event showed me that its very much alive in New England. A lot of new faces came out to the event.

The 16 and under kids killed it - and Ryan Strout from Maine ended up taking it in the end with a soul on a high kink rail to 9 foot gap off the flat.

Johnny Wu once again took the OG 25+ comp with consistency , and style, which resulted in numerous lines, as well as a soul and slash stance frontside down the kink.

The level of skating in the open class was also incredible. Kids were really determined to win and in the end Benny Strout from Maine took the comp. He was lacing at each spot and ended the comp with a disaster true top porn over a sidewalk to the down rail.

Too much went down at the contest to really sum up in text but the results in text are:
“GROM” - 16 and under:
1st Place: Ryan Strout - Cape, ME
2nd Place: Brandon Cummings - Medford, MA
3rd Place: Dylan Hopp - Warwick, Rhode Island

“OG’” - 25 and older:
1st Place: Johnny Wu - Westport, MA
2nd Place: Julio Ayamiya - New York, NY

“OPEN” - 16-25
1st Place: Benny Strout - Cape, ME
2nd Place: Taylor Greene - Sudbury, Ma

AM get up spotted on MTV’s Scarred.

Friday, June 8th, 2007

If you live in the U.S.A. you have probably seen the stomach turning show by MTV called Scarred where they feature people getting completley broke off in the worst ways possible. I can’t hardly believe a show like this gets ratings (especially on MTV) as it makes some of the crashes hard to watch, let alone over and over again with slo-motion shots and added in bone shattering sound effects not to mention plenty of overly gory stock footage of non-related injuries… Also The host seems to be quite an odd character for such a show. I think he’d be better of suited in a Hollywood hair saloon fixin’ up alike dudes hair and nails, or better yet he could be testing a waterproof eye liner for all the crying he probably does in his off time. I’m sorry, Let me get back on track here. In Scarred episode 7, Kyle from Lancaster, Ohio can be spotted sporting our infamous full-zip hoodie and pin stripe fitted hat (soon the be released) during his head cracking Scarred profile. We here at AMALL just wanted to say thanks first off for buying the gear and second for actually wearing it. Kyle if you somehow read this or some one out there knows Kyle, tell him to give us a ring-a-ling because I got a $100 AMALL gift card here waiting for him. If you want to check out the episode featuring Kyle and many more Scarred episodes click here.
