5050 Backpack Review by Tim Kahana
Wednesday, February 29th, 2012Tim Kahana took his own time to write up this review of the 50/50 Pro Tours backpack:

“In our beloved industry of rollerblading, we are offered multiple styles of back packs that cater to certain individual needs. From basic designs like the humble 6 that can carry a day’s worth of gear and skates to the weekend/ travelers style of bag like the Jug XL bag. Today I came across a bag that caught my eye not because of the flashy and bright color or the Cubical Shape but it’s the functionality that the design carriers over.
The 50/50 tour backpack has six Pockets: 2 small (6”x6”) 2 long pockets (6”x12”. One has a divider) one main compartment (W: 14.5″ x H 15.5″ x D 10″ and a laptop compartment that you can squeeze up to possibly a 15 inch mac book? The point I’m stating is that this bag is a PACK. I use this backpack everyday transporting my 13 inch macbook and cannon 60D with an extra lens and all the necessities to such as a card reader, a charger for both the camera and mac, extra cannon batteries, an external hard drive and my skates, it performs great with the daily load. When it comes to purchase a new backpack I have to make sure that it separates itself from my collection of military backpacks and the 50/50 bag does make a statement.

The main compartment has amazing padded sides and a removable thin plastic wall to maintain its shape, with a small layer of insulation to keep your goods at room temperature. Although the 50/50 tour pro bag has a lot of outstanding features, my only complaint was in the color selection. The 2 colors that 50/50 currently produces are white (which can get dirty fast) and turquoise (which is a sick color but can get old real fast). Due to my horrible trait that I have to match everything, I decided to roll with the Snow White.

Overall the assets this bag offers give you the bang for the buck you deserve with a price tag of only $60. I recommend this pack to everyone as it works great for day to day usage and is awesome for the blader that does a lot of traveling.” -Tim Kahana
