Sorry Amall, but I’m not going to drop $400+ dollars on your pre-fab p.o.s. rails when I can take my own materials I bought for $35 a local welder and pay him another $75 to do some simple welds.
Oh and btw, THAT was the worst BOTW yet, and the shameless plug for your over priced rails was worse.
Where was the plug for the rails? All I said is you get what you pay for. And that pipe you buy at home depot isn’t the same stuff. So I’m sorry, you just have no idea what you are talking about.
so you’re telling me that you buy “special metal” to make your rails? thats a fuckin trip, you buy the same shit everyone else does at lowes or home depot. there is no “special metal” used for coping. shit, when we built our local park Judd “Farmboy” Heald (yea the guy who’s been building for woodward since the mid ’90’s and ex-pro skateboarder) and i took a trip down to our local home depot and ordered the same 2″ steel piping that they had on the shelves that costs about $3 a foot, the same 2″ steel piping that woodward uses on their ramps. if you’re buying something different, something more expensive, you’re an idiot.
$3 a foot is still more than $50 bucks for a 21 footer! If you don’t like them don’t buy them. The only idiot in here is the one spending all his time and effort typing out a bunch of hearsay nonsense on what? A bail of the week that had absolutely nothing to do with selling a rail…
Jerry, You pay $110 for your rail. That kid probably made his with $20. You really do get what you pay for. You paid more so you got more.
And for the record, galvanized steel is different from regular steel pipe. Some people use regular steel at parks and then coat them with a hard clear coat so you “don’t have to wax them”, which we know is a load of crap but whatever.
