^^cuz he spins away from the object? Same confusion on the ao trick tip…seems pretty inconsistent and n00bies like me are muy confused.

I need a trick tip on inspin, outspin, truspin, ao, sav, unity.

Skiers would call that 270 on. If anything, imho, it should be just that. 270 on. If he spun the opposite it would just be 270 backside on. Or consider spinning right is normally natty, left is normally unnatty and call it natural 270 on.

    f’n'a..i dunno

  10. Charles Says:

non this is a inspin cuz you do a 360° before grinding, so it’s a 360° in..if you do a 360° after your grind that will be a outspin. we don’t care about the direction of rotation

  11. Matt Says:

Outspin/inspin definitely refers to the direction you enter the trick, it is never about how you finish the trick.

  12. jibbit Says:

good grief charlie brown. where’s that kyle fellar?

  13. TJL Says:

This is a common mis-perception in rolling. “Inspin” and “Outspin” refers to the last 180 before locking onto the grind. While he might have spun away from the rail at first the last 180 before he locked on was inspin. Hence 360 inspin soul. Outspin has nothing to do with spinning off of a grind.
