TJ WEBBER

YO, SO THERE WAS SOME THREAD ON BE-MAG ABOUT A SKATING LEGEND OR HALL OF FAME OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, AND THERE WAS A LIST OF PEOPLE WHO PRETTY MUCH STILL SKATE: JULIO, SHIMA, SOME OTHER FOOLS - AND THEN THERE WAS TJ WEBBER’S NAME. AND I STARTED THINKING TO MYSELF - DO A LOT OF THE YOUNGER KIDS SKATING REALLY KNOW ABOUT TJ WEBBER?? DUDE IS SICK, HAD MAD STLYE FOR WAY BACK WHEN, BUTTERY SOYALES WERE A STAPLE OF HIS, GRABBING OUT OF TRICKS AND SMOOTH SPINS TOO. SO HERE’S A LITTLE RUN DOWN OF A HOPEFULLY NOT FORGOTTEN, BUT INNOVATIVE ROLLER - TJ WEBBER:

FROM THE ADVENTURES OF MR MOOSEKNUCKLE, IF YOU’RE UNDER 13 AND YOU KNOW WHAT A MOOSE KNUCKLE IS THEN YOUR PARENTS SHOULD TAKE AWAY YOUR COMPUTER. ALSO, SOMEONE UPLOAD ‘BAKING COOKIES’ TO YOUTUBE. OH YEAH, THIS IS ALSO WHEN ALL SKATING MOVIES HAD 311 IN THE SOUNDTRACK.

FROM ESPIONAGE - REMEMBER SENATE COMBS??

SENATE - NIGHT OF THE STRING, BACK WHEN THEY WERE A REAL COMPANY AND MADE MOVIES AND SUCH, AND CLOTHES, AND WHEELS, AND SPONSORED SKATERS AND WERN’T COMPLETELY WACK.

PRESSING REWIND ON THE SENATE YEARS - DAY OF THE ROPE (1996)

Night of the String was the first skate video id ever seen. Brought back some memories of back in the day when a friend and I would watch this video about 6:00 or 6:30 in the morning and then go out and find random sh** in our neighborhood to skate. The day would end about 7:30PM without ever leaving the neighborhood. WOW I really want to watch this hole video again.

Champion was always my favorite. First person to ever inspire me to consider double sets.
