Like the title states, the year is 2008, and the contest is in Northern California. Blade Comedy Jam’s are usually filled with nothing but the opposite, which is rollerblading and that should be never be taken as a joke. I mean some of the tricks are funny, but this is serious business but “Tommy Boy” AKA “Tommy Boy” seems to think that it is some sort of monkey business. Let me start out by giving you a little history behind the “el bladeo comedyo jamo.” Starting about 2 years ago Mr.Boy started throwing street contests in San Fransisco and various surrounding towns that had little in common with organization, which in rollerblading… isn’t all that bad. At the very least all the homeys got together and skated major numbers deep at some high profile street spots. As the day went on the contest would usually dwindle at about spot #3. A Product toss would usually ensue, which would inevitably cause a frenzy amongst the kids and like a ninja using his smoke screen (You know when they throw the smoke bomb on the ground and it goes “POOooooFFFF!”) Tommy Boy could barely be seen in the background ducking into is H2 stretch limo (one time it was a helicopter) and scooting away with yet another contest under his belt…. Well this time it was different, very different indeed. Instead of being an illegal unorganized street contest, it was an illegal unorganized skate park contest… and this was bold…so bold that the inevitable was INEVITABLE!!!!!!! READ ON FOR MORE!

Traffic ended up being heavier than normal… With the weather being all super nice there were tons of idiots on the road. You know, the site see’ers and general chumpsters mucking about… So it took us about twice as long to get to the Novato skate park. With that said the said contest had already started…

Oh ya. Brandon Smith was skating. It was Park. Need I say more? Bsmithers with a backside in HD format to the win. Ooops I spolied it. Brandon won if you didn’t catch that one.

Brandon had the best lines. He would do about 20-45 tricks in a row. Hardass ones too, then get like 10 feet of air, then do a grind, then do like a fakie dub. Amazing watching him skate. Makes skating look fun. and I say look fun, because it’s really not any fun at all.

Here is a little even foreshadowing for you… WOOP! WOOP! (cop siren noises)

Vinny Minton is still killing it. True Top soul down the rail.

Shawn Storm won best trick of the day. No doubt with this Dub Neg. on the “squares” rail.

B.Smith with a gap out the bowl, AO top acid to keep the line going and a 720 over the launch boxo. (720 omitted due to steeze factor.)

Erik Bailey was killin’ it too with dope lines and a Lu-Kang over one of the hips.

People sat there amazed as Jeff Stockwell went up the hip and just completely lost his footing. Bail of the day goes to Stockwell. JK!!!, cool hand plant deal (philips 66) with bad timing on the trigger by me.

(INTERMISSION. TIME FOR THE NEXT SPOT.)

The next spot is the San Rafael skate park or Marin skate park AKA Disneyland because it is so huge and cool. Everyone showed up mobbing deep but there was big trouble on the horizon for little old lollerblading…

Brandon Sweatstancing his was to first. Did I already mention he won? Yeah, he won.

“We got a 1087. I repeat a 1087. We have skaters at the skate park…skating…That’s right skaters, SKATING at the SKATE PARK. I’m gonna need back up right away, code 3!”

“ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGHGG!!!! WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TIME TO BUST SOME HEADS!!! THAT’S MY PARK PUNK! YOU WANT SOME OF THIS TOO OLD MAN!!!!!!!

“Hard evidence has been recovered. We officially have proof that these guys were skating at the skate park. I can’t believe these idiots got it all on tape… Biggest bust of my career. I’ma get a huge promotion after this one is over.”

“Did I win yet?”

“AHAHAHAH, Everyone get the F out!”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH. THIS IS A COPS ONLY PARK. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH-AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAH- TAKE MY PICTURE, DAMN IM HANDSOME, DAMN YOU’RE UGLY! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and I leave you with this… “Until next time Tommy Boy!” This is a skatepark and don’t you forget that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO SKATING ALLOWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
