Official word from powerslide has just been released about their “Holiday” line of skates. Here is what they had to say…
We are more than sorry to inform you that all the new Throne models from USD will not make it in time for X-mas.
The models will be shipped after X-mas and arrive by end of January. The reason for this most unfortunate delay is that we had to change suppliers due to timing and quality issues and the new supplier was not able to make the injection plastic parts in time due to the skate molds needing modification to fit on their injection machines. This modification delayed the injection and production even further. This is a huge blow for all those who have ordered and waited for these skates, and it is of course terrible for us too.* *Major changes have been already put into place to avoid this kind of delay in the future. Again please accept our most sincere apologies and we really do hope to keep your support as we promise to work harder than ever on a better future and will continue to underline our support for aggressive skating and the scene wherever we can. In otherwords, have fun with no skates this year little timmy, we know you won’t make it into the new year, but maybe you’ll be happy with this key chain we found on the ground instead.
