Friday, April 27th, 2007Featuring the world takes you on a trip showing you a true international look on skating with top skaters from around the world. Two main filmers travelled the world to capture the best skating and for this dvd we had three major tours to ensure you the cream of the crop. The Japan tour featured Alex Broskow, Jeff Stockwell and Jeromy Morris matching ti up with Japans finest including Chiaki Ito and many more. Several weeks of unreal skate spots and a cultural clash are captured throughout teh dvd. Mike Choley then packed his bags and flew further to Australia to meet up with Richie Eisler to embark on a week long tour of Australia with top Australian skaters. There they found it all, old stars from Australia, the up and coming skaters from Australia, wildlife parties and all that Australia stands for. Off we went to Europe to embark on a mission to the Roskilde festival, one of the biggest music festivals to feature skating and show it to the masses. The tour was joined and supported by Mike Murda Johnson, Brian Aragon, Sean Kelso, Stefan Hornagacher and Chino who then ripped Europes finest spots. Of course we additionally worked on content around the world. Richie Eisler filmed both in Australia and Canada for his profile. Dominik Wagner filmed during another tour to Roskilde and throughout Europe for his profile. And we filmed the main content for Be-Mag print giving you the clips from Jeff STockwells epci interview in Issue 23. If you want a dvd that shows you the best skating in new surroundings with your favorite pros and up and coming new talent then this is the dvd you need to get.
Additionally to the skating part we added special documentary portions as bonus sections where you see a Japan documentary, a documentary on the Roskilde tour and a special Horseman section.

The Apple that fell far from the Tree is a documentary film that depicts a day in the life of Mr. Sean Sea.[C] However on this particular day he experiences a series of daydreams throughout the day that flash through his head uncontrollably.
Reflecting on his lifestyle[+] and a series of traumatic events that resulted from it causes him to spiral downward into a sad state of depression and lunacy. He comes to the realization that his dedication to his lifestyle[+] has guided him nowhere except into the dirt… He symbolically covers himself in mud and parades through the streets in hopes of eliminating some of the ignorance that surrounds his lifestyle[+]. However as he continues parading through the streets covered in mud, he finally realizes his choice to continue on with this lifestyle is not contingent upon how anyone views his lifestyle but is for different reasons altogether. Sean Cullen is a real person. The outcome of his lifestyle is yet to be determined. 55min.
Also Starring: Erik Bailey, Patrick Lennen, Lulu Rain and Lil’ Riley

To all involved with in the sport of inline skating
Wednesday, April 25th, 2007Attention to all of you involved in the sport of INLINE SKATING…To those of you who do not know me, my name is Pam Velasquez. I am a director at Woodward West and I also run the Amateur Inline League presented by Rollerblade along with my partners Richie Velasquez & Cory Miller.
As you all know… the AIL has sky rocketed and become a very successful inline series for our amateur athletes. We cannot thank each and every one of you enough for your support & dedication. It has been a privilege to get this AM series off the ground.
September 28-30th this year, we will be hosting the AIL World Championships event at Woodward West in Tehachapi, CA. This event is going to be HUGE and packed with fun activities, contests, giveaways, & the annual AIL Award banquet. Competitors will have the opportunity to skate along side their favorite Pro’s and learn more about their favorite companies. Our 16 & up Advanced division will even have the opportunity to compete along side the top 10 (invited) Pro’s for a CRAZY AMOUNT of $10,000!
For those of you who have been blessed and fortunate to attend our qualifiers and are able to make it out to the finals with your parent’s support… remember to say “THANK YOU” to your parents for their support!
There are many kids & teenagers who are less fortunate and never get to attend events or activities within the sport they love. And for that reason, I will be running a 26.2 mile marathon on June 3rd in San Diego, CA to raise money for underprivileged kids so that they will have the opportunity to compete and participate in the EVENT OF THE YEAR!
Lets unite together, as a sport, and help those less fortunate get involved! The more we raise, the more we can do such as paying for contest fees up to providing a full paid trip (including airfare, & event fees).
The AIL has established a parents committee to oversee and carry out this project. They will oversee all funds and distribute funds in the best way possible to allow us to get the most out of what we are doing. A big thanks to Heather Daily of Indiana for heading this project!
How to Donate
You may log onto http://www.active.com/donate/inlineleague and donate online with your credit or may also send Money orders or checks to:AIL/ Scholarship Fund
28621 Augusta Way
Tehachapi, CA 93561We will keep everyone updated on how much we have collected over the next 9 weeks leading up to the event where I will “attempt” to run 26.2 miles. If everyone would even donate a $1, we could collect thousands to make a difference in our sport.
If you know anyone who deserves some help or a full scholarship for the World Finals, please have them personally write a letter addressed to: AIL/ Scholarship Fund and let us know why they should be chosen for a Scholarship (your personal reference always helps too)! The mailing address is the same as above.
Our Scholarship board will then evaluate and distribute the funds the best they can. We hope that we are able to add MANY smiles to the sport of Inline this year!
My training has NOT been easy but what keeps me going is the thought that I may make a difference to those individuals who did not have a chance before I started! So, please join me in the effort to make a difference!
Thank you,
Pam Velasquez
